The En 19 is a high tensile, low alloy steel that is mostly used to manufacture typical industrial engineering equipments such as shafts, nuts, bolts etc. It is also the preferred metal to manufacture engine parts such as shafts, pinions, spindles and gears. This steel is normally tempered and hardened to improve its tensile strength to the range of 700- 1000 N/mm.
