She has overall 13 years of teaching and 7 years of industry experience and has submitted her thesis entitled ‘A study on the customer value, customer relations and marketing performance analysis of baby food products at Nestle India Limited in pursuance of her doctorate degree at Bharathiar University. She is a triple post graduate and has guided for several PG students. She has involved in Training, Personality Development Programmes, Counselling and mentoring the students. She has served as NAAC Steering Committee co-ordinator, IQAC co-ordinator /Member, Entrepreneurship Development Cell Co-ordinator, Internal Audit Committee Member. She has served asDy. Chief Superintendent in conducting Bangalore University Examinations.

She is an author of three books and an editor, reviewer of few International Journals, College Magazines and Newsletters. She has also served as an external examiner, moderator, question paper setter for autonomous colleges and Universities too. She has sessioned chairs in International Conferences and have been invited as panel member and as a resource person for talks.
